I just read a brief blog from the ASCD titled, "Nurturing Courageous Teacher Leaders." It refers to a conference session. What caught my eye --and heart-- was the line, "you can't turn a school around if you're not allowing adults to pool their intelligence." Yes. I use RSS via Google Reader to keep tabs on the latest posts/comments/replies, etc. It can be overwhelming. I suppose the key is setting limits. Once you know what is out there, you can begin to narrow your field to the few blogs/nings/wikis you're interested in reading.

We should only use this technology to the extent that it betters us and is enjoyable.

It does get over whelming the number of links, resources and email accounts. I try to use del.icio.us to keep bookmarks for the web sites I use the most. Adding to my Google RSS reader is a bad habit I constantly struggle with. Solving real organizational problem together is one of the first steps educators need to do to begin to understand the power of Web 2.0
